We are working with the Jester Park Exceptional Rider Program to offer wagon rides and individual horse rides.  Anyone can participate in the wagon ride at $10 per person.  You need to click on DOWNLOAD AN EQUINE PERMISSION FORM HERE!  On their website and send the forms to the Equestrian Center in care of Deanne Mundt. 

Wagon Rides - 45-minute horse-drawn wagon rides for $10 per person (3 years and younger are free).
 

Individual Horse Rides - If someone with Spina Bifida wants to ride on a horse, we also need a doctor permission slip.  Reply today so we can get that sent to you.  They have a ramp to get wheelchairs to horse height.  If you can transfer from your chair to the back of a horse and your doctor is okay with you riding, you can probably ride.  We anticipate 15 minutes of riding with 3 volunteers around you; one leading the horse and one on each side.  This will cost $10 for about 15 minutes and we can discuss different length rides if you let us know now.  Siblings can also choose this option and only need the Equine Permission Form. 

Once we have our group of riders, we will coordinate a lunch at noon in the park for those interested.
